SACRED VALLEY WITH MACCHU PICCHU 2 DAY TOUR

DAY 1: SACRED VALLEY CONNECTION AGUAS CALIENTES.

Pick up from your hotel from 6:30 to 7:00 a.m., once the whole group is complete, we will head north. Our first visit will be to Chinchero, a picturesque village, where we can see agricultural terraces, the remains of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, the beautiful colonial temple built on the foundations of an Inca building and observe the whole process of wool from washing and spinning to become beautiful textiles. Continuing with our tour we will arrive at Moray, where we will observe several natural pits that were terraces for agricultural experimentation. Then we will continue to the salt mines of Maras, in this place we will observe the natural process of salt extraction that dates from the time of the Incas. Then we will go to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions of the inhabitants of the jungle. After our visit in Ollantaytambo we will take our train in the afternoon, this will depend on the available schedules that we book (16:30, 19:00, 19:26). The travel time by train to our destination has a duration of 2 hours approx. Upon arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes our hotel transfer will be waiting for us with a sign indicating our names, (accommodation at the hotel). This day in the evening our guide will come to pick us up to give us our talk and coordinate our visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

DAY 2: VISIT MACHUPICCHU - RETURN TO CUSCO

This day we will make our dream of visiting the wonder of the world Machu Picchu come true. We will pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time where we will take a bus that will take us to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in a 30-minute trip. We will start our tour with our guide for approximately 2 hrs and 30 minutes, where we will visit the most important and main places such as: (House of the guardian, Temple of the sun, 3 windows, Intihuatana, Aclla huasi, Temple of the condor and the water fountains). After the visit with the guide, we will have more time to explore the citadel of Machu Picchu on our own, then for the return we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes where we will have some time for lunch. After lunch we will take the return train at the time indicated on our tickets (remember to be at the train station 30 minutes before departure). Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo station, there will be waiting for our transfer bus with a sign indicating your name to transfer us to the city of Cusco with a trip of 2 hours, the bus will leave us two blocks from the main square of Cusco.
