EPIC LARES-HUACAWASI SINGLETRACK

This trip starts from 4463 masl from a vertical descent with gravel of about 75 meters of full adrenaline, to later join with a wide path and descend to more than 35 km known as a bridle path that still preserves a part of the Inca Trail. This trail offers us different types of terrain, ideal for freeride and those riders who seek to accelerate the heart to the maximum with spectacular views, we end it up in the hot springs of Lares to relax and recharge our energies. (4hrs-18hrs approx.)

ITINERARY

The pickup time is at 05:00 hrs., We will go in our transport to Urubamba in the sacred valley stop for breakfast and then we will continue to the mountain of Patacancha (Chupani pass 4460masl) from there we will begin our riding adventure with some enduro and Downhill, the road is singletrack next to llamas and alpacas, also we will use animal trails by Andean crops, The road is medium to high level, this is the first trail with 35 kilometers of pure descent to the valley of Lares, after that we will stop by the hot springs of Lares to relax and lunch.

Then, we will continue to our next trail, we’ll take our car to climb the second mountain called The Lares pass at 4450 masl, this trail takes approximately 2hrs all descent, all the way down to the sacred valley, the road is advanced level, where we will pass steps, rocks, puddles and a canyon with full of bleachers and technical curves and Inca bridges. This part of the trail is 28 km with beautiful views and great memories.

Start time:

To avoid crowds, we start this ride early at 5:00 hrs., so you can meet your guides and have your bike ready

​Pick-up time:

Varies depending on the location of your hotel. If you are coming from Cusco, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation at 05:00 hrs., if you are in the Sacred Valley pickup will be at 06:00 am.

Time spent in transit:

(All times are approximations, depending on road and traffic conditions)
Cusco – Urubamba – Chupani pass: 2.5hrs.
Urubamba – Chupani: 1.5hrs.

The reservation is considered partial when our clients aren't do a total cost deposit of the service. All the reservations are guaranteed and confirmed after we receive the deposit in our bank account, or recieve in a Wester Union office. After that to reconfirm your request, we are going to send a SERVICE VOUCHER by fax or mail three days late to fax number or mail address you give us.
